How it works
Everything you need to know about Bisect — the 5-minute memecoin prediction market on Ethereum mainnet. Prices from DexScreener, across Uniswap and Stockereum pools.
Overview
Bisect is a binary prediction market built on Ethereum. You predict whether a memecoin's price will go UP or DOWN over a 5-minute window. If your prediction is correct, you win a proportional share of the total bet pool.
Markets open on new token launches listed by DexScreener across Ethereum's DEXes, including Uniswap and Stockereum launches . You can also manually create a market for any token by searching its contract address.
Getting Started
You can be placing your first prediction in under 60 seconds. Here's how:
Click "Connect Wallet" in the top navigation. Bisect lists every browser wallet you have installed (MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Phantom, and more). On a phone, it offers to open the site inside the MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet or Trust Wallet app.
Make sure you have ETH on Ethereum mainnet, plus a little extra for gas. The minimum bet is 0.001 ETH — bet any amount above that. You can deposit by scanning the QR code shown in the wallet panel after connecting.
Go to the Markets page (/app). Browse active prediction markets or use the token search bar to find a specific token by its contract address.
Click a market card to open it. Choose UP or DOWN, enter your ETH bet amount, and confirm the transaction in your wallet. You're in!
The countdown shows how much time is left. Betting closes 30 seconds before the end. At zero, the resolver posts the closing price to the contract and the market settles. Winners then press Claim, on the market page or in the wallet panel, to withdraw their payout from the contract.
How Markets Work
Every prediction market on Bisect follows the same lifecycle:
Market Creation
- ▸From the live feed: new Ethereum launches appear in the Live Launches panel. Press + on one to open a market.
- ▸Manual — Any user can create a market for any token by searching its contract address in the search bar on the Markets page.
- ▸Each market records an opening price at creation time using the DexScreener price oracle.
Resolution Logic
- ▸When the 5-minute window expires, the engine fetches the final price from the oracle.
- ▸Final price > opening price → UP bettors win
- ▸Final price < opening price → DOWN bettors win
- ▸Final price = opening price → All bets refunded (rare tie)
- ▸Oracle failure → Market cancelled, all bets refunded

Directions
You predict the token price will be higher than the opening price when the 5-minute window closes.
You predict the token price will be lower than the opening price when the 5-minute window closes.
Bet Limits
Payout Calculation
Bisect uses a parimutuel betting model — losing bets fund the winning pool. Payouts are proportional to your share of the winning side.
Worked Example
Price Oracle
Bisect sources price data from DexScreener, which aggregates every DEX indexed on Ethereum (Uniswap v2/v3/v4, including Stockereum's v4 pools) into a single deepest-liquidity price per token.
For each token, Bisect takes the DEX pair with the most liquidity and reads its USD price. USD is used because many Ethereum tokens, including most Stockereum launches, are paired against tokenized stocks rather than ETH. Real-time, free, and no API key required.
- ▸Price is read from the deepest-liquidity pair for the token, across every DEX on the chain.
- ▸If no pair with liquidity is found, the market is cancelled and all bets are refunded.
Supported Tokens
Any Ethereum token with an active price feed can have a prediction market on Bisect.
- ▸Any Ethereum token — Search any contract address. If a price feed exists on DexScreener, a market can be created.
- ▸Deep liquidity preferred — Tokens with an active Uniswap pair on Ethereum, including Stockereum's stock-paired pools, have the most reliable prices.
