Where the fee goes.
Every Bisect bet goes into one smart contract, and only that contract pays winners. The operator can withdraw the 2% fee and nothing else. Every number below is read live from the contract.

How to verify this yourself
Open the contract on Etherscan to read its source. Every bet, resolution and claim shows up as a transaction in its history. The rules that matter are in the code: the fee is capped at 5%, the owner can only withdraw accrued fees, and if a market isn't resolved within an hour of closing, anyone can cancel it so every bettor gets a full refund.
The one thing you trust is the price. A resolver key posts each market's start and end price from DexScreener. It can open, settle and cancel markets, but it can't move ETH.
The 2% protocol fee is not a buyback-and-burn and never touches the project token on Stockereum. It funds platform operations. See payout calculation in the docs for the exact formula.
